Dashcam footage shows a Refugio man driving away from state law enforcement and crashing through a gate at the San Antonio International Airport.

Brandon Christopher Figueroa, 25, was the target of a Texas Department of Public Safety traffic stop near Loop 410 and Babcock Road on Aug. 22.

Video shows Figueroa exiting the vehicle with troopers pointing weapons at him as they asked him to surrender.

  • A drug possession charge
  • Tampering with physical evidence with intent to impair
  • Criminal mischief

Figueroa was also charged with criminal trespassing with a deadly weapon, a Class A misdemeanor. He remains jailed on a $59,500 bond.
