ALEXANDER CO., N.C. – A child care center employee is accused of physically abusing a two-year-old boy. Sheriff’s deputies in Alexander County arrested 36-year-old Holly Payne on Wednesday.
The alleged abuse happened earlier this month at Mount Bethel Methodist Church Child Development Center in Bethlehem.
Warrants say Payne grabbed the two-year-old boy by his arm, which left bruising, then flipped him over aggressively onto a cot during nap time.
Payne is now out of jail on a $10,000 bond.
